striped PJ's again!

Funnily enough after I've looked everywhere for a DVD of the Boy in the Striped PJ's and I've just begun reading it, it was on TV last night.
Quite good, not what I was expecting!
Lola had to watch it recently in school. I think it's quite good for school. There is no graphic violence/ the horror in it, but it definitely gives you a sense of the wrong.
much better than Escape From Sobibor that we had to watch every week at her age!  I remember going into English each week after watching it, and Ms Davies would know we'd been watching it again...

While chatting with mum today I remembered: as a child, I had drawn a girl or possibly written a story about a little girl. Mum said, what are you calling her?
I had decided to call her Angina, i thought it was a really pretty girl's name!
Funnily enough angina is the Polish for tonsilitis! Confusing huh!
