Thursday morning, mum & I went to her prayer triplet, which was lovely. Mum & dad are reading through the bible at the moment, doing 1 chap of OT, 1 chap NT and one chap of prov/psalm, three times a day, which I joined in & is a great idea!
I need to do something like this in addition to BSF, which is coming soon, yay!!
After lunch mum went to rest & I got on the train home.
That evening I went to a baby shower, only my 2nd one. There were lots of friends there, we played fun games & had lovely cakes & such. There were lots of lovely gifts.
We did blindfold find-the-safety-pins-in-a-bowl-of-rice, blindfold team dressing-a-baby-doll, creating a maternity outfit from loo roll, charades using play-doh, guessing who was in the baby photos, guessing the coming baby's birth weight etc.
Dh and I went to Dobbies for breakfast (took Fred to avoid any mishaps!) and enjoyed it outside. It is the last day of Dh's week off work, and he does have plenty extra to do on Monday since his work laptop was stolen.
I have got BSF leader's workshop meeting tomorrow morning. Thrilled to be back, not thrilled to set my alarm for 05:40 tomorrow! But raring to go in our study of Genesis this year. I have studied Genesis before with BSF, but I know the Lord has lots new to show & say to me this year! He is wonderful x
Today I am quite excited , having ordered home school products: Teaching textbooks math 7 and Apologia general science CD rom , both aimed at Ruby's age but I am hoping Fred will go along with it too. OO! Can't wait to get on with them.
