I am in Stafford today, I came up this morning to stay over one night, not realising it was my dad's first day back at work. It is one week since mum's cancer surgery, and she had an appointment at the hospital. They removed her big plaster and said she is doing so well, she can come off all the multiple pills she was on, and they do not need to see her again. The Dr was Very Pleased with her recovery.
The lovely ole lady who'd driven us to the hospital suggested going for a celebratory coffee n cake, so we went to Amerton Farm for a cuppa and a chat. Then home. Mum is doing okay, though she gets very fatigued every so often & is easily confused at the moment.
Wonderful though!
