farm & bibles

a playground in Halewood
farm shop

Yesterday I was thrilled to wake up to a day with no appointments, obligations or time restraints! AND it was reasonably good weather (okay home educating and my NVQ work are always hanging in the ether like a dull cloud! but i was ignoring them)
So I was googling local veg box companies and I found a farm shop not four miles from our house, So we saddled on up and cycled there. We bought some veg and looked at their donkeys & goats. *it wasn't a "real" farm, just a farm shop and about 10 animals for show. But hey! There was lovely ice cream which we ate while looking at the donkey & standing in a car park. good times.
On the way there we had passed the Hub, which is a gift-shop and drop-in for Grace church Halewood. So we stopped there on the way back & had a cuppa & slice of cake with Liz & Brian and then I bought my girls a new bible each, theirs are in tatters.
