The Lord always provides.

I have always struggled with money, sometimes we haven't had much, but quite frankly, even when we do have more coming in, I struggle to make ends meet. No-one knows where it goes!

I record spending, make plans,charts etc, I buy everything 2nd hand, we never go anywhere expensive.... Blah blah blah!

At the same time, we have never bought anything expensive because the Lord always provides stuff for free if we can't afford it! Remember this...

That's right, dh's company car, straight from the factory, free-of-charge! and then last year, this....

That's right, petrol became free to us, and then we got DLA for Fred (extra money help cos of his additional needs) and someone even gave us their table tennis table, we have been enjoying that this summer.

And remember this January after I had given up my job, we were praying for food & it just kept coming!

The Lord Always Provides!

But I am not showing that very well in my daily life.  I always seem to be scrabbling around, borrowing £20 or not being able to show up at things because of the £3 ticket!

In God's Smuggler (which I just so happen to be reading right now), Brother Andrew had a similar problem, and he realised he was living with an attitude of Lack.  It is a rubbish advert for God isn't it! He is the KING! He doesn't scrabble around for coppers. 

Please join me in prayer as I seek to reflect the Lord's wonderful abundance in my life.

Going without has had its uses, it has taught me to empathise with the poorer people in my life. And it has forced me to rely on my Lord. And I will gladly be poor for the rest of my life if it suits HIM.

But let my life reflect His amazing majesty, faithfulness, generosity & provision.
