Northern Women's Convention. Yeah!

On saturday I went with about 9 women from church to the Northern Women's Convention. It is a super day full of bible, worship, people's stories etc. There were about 900 people there, we had a great time. The main speaker was Kathleen Neilson, (I'd never heard of her before) and she gave a great talk called something like "Rahab: putting her in her place" which was excellent- witty, wise, full of cross references, history & the gospel!
I will always recommend the conference, there is a South one & a Midlands one now, they are brilliant!

As well as the blessings of the worship & seminars, it's just a great day out with friends! we all enjoyed a chippy meal afterwards, while waiting for the exit queue to die down. We had a giggle!

I had my blood tests this morning. Then into the Cafe for the quietest day we have ever had in there! Also the radiators were working in there, 1st time ever!
I did some detail cleaning, then was able to come away before 2pm, wow!
Afterwards I met E for a coffee.
Quite a calm day!
Except for young F, he has been quite bad tempered today, a lot of shouting, kicking things etc.
I love him.
