A lovely autumn walk

We really need some exercise & fresh air so walked through to Hale Park today. I wanted to go by the country walk but Freddy wouldn't not cycle(!) so we went by the pavement. Ruby & I prayed for our 2 foreign kids, Sidy & Katy-Yoselin as we walked. It was a good trip, tho' neither child actually wanted to go!
Hale village hall have a tea & home made cakes thing on Friday morn, so I got 3 slices of home made victoria sponge to augment our picnic.
I really enjoy the autumn leaves colours & contrasts.
It is chilly but dry today, and I feel much better after a bit of countryside.
I forgot to take any pictures. So here are some from the garden. I just LOVE bright red against the greeny-grey foliage.
My gorgeous little maple

my gorgeous apples!

my gorgeous eucalyptus

And a corner I was determined to clear out in September. But it never stopped raining! You can see my new virginia creeper at the back, trying to bring a little bright colour to this corner too!
