Thursday morning the internet wasn't working, so it was a great opportunity to do something from around the house that we've been ignoring.
So i got out the Pimsleur Hebrew cassettes!
We did a little hebrew round the table. Fred wasn't really trying though Ruby did well.
Then we did the first lesson of "A single shard" study guide. talking about Korea, pottery, orphans etc and had a really fun time!
Then we took a bus to Aldi.
Then came home & did maths.
p.m. I made baked potatoes & tinned meatballs, then they all watched Uncle Buck while I went to fellowship group at PW's.
Friday - well, our brooder arrived today! It's a warm shelf-like object for baby chicks to get warm under. Yay!
I hoovered at 9am, then Fred hoovered the hall floor, i mopped and he dried the hall tiles. He hoovered the stairs and Ruby cleaned the toilet.
Great work, it looks great!
I was so pleased, especially with Fred's attitude, that I had to take them out to lunch.
This afternoon I've booked me, DH & the girls on the Happy Chicks 1-hour chicken keeping course on 26th Jan. Eggciting!
