Friday morning we were at the Casey's for a prayer breakfast, (all but Ruby who Could Not be roused!)
We enjoy these times together and I really appreciate them opening their home to us families & sharing food and how-to about family devotions.
I had a slight altercation with P about aspergers, and then we agreed to have a discussion on the subject later in the week. He is doing this christian psychology/counselling course at the moment which is really good, I would like to hear what he has learned in relation to aspergers, but I would much rather do the course myself, Lord willing.
It is with CCEF, the Christian Counselling and Educational Foundation. The book we studied together, Instruments In The Redeemer's Hands, which was so good, is from there.
That day I was determined to get the kids to do a bit of housework, and we did achieve just that, a bit.
Saturday I made leek & potato soup, and white-choc-cherry cookies. E & O came over for lunch & we had a long discussion about lots of things and prayed about issues whenever they came up. E is quite an encouragement!
