Good Evening!
I managed to get both boys bathed & hair washed before church today, as well as whippin' up a big batch of scotch pancakes for breakfast. We did Revelation chapter 17 in church today, it was quite shocking & thankfully Ste did a PG13 version cos we have at least 5 young teens in the Sermon these days. I realised my very own Jojo will have outgrown junior church in September! What?!?!?!
Then off to Nan's for a very lovely, big roast dinner with loads of different veggies...Mmmm! I ate far too much. And then the kids watched Shrek 3 while I had a great chat with Nan about teen troubles, mothering stuff. She is much better than when I saw her on Christmas.
Then back at 6pm for the prayer meeting which i "lead" (very loose meaning of the word "lead"), after which I chatted with a newish member of our congregation, a youngish chap from Iraq, who had an interesting story to tell.
Lovely.
It's bedtime & Lola's blazer is still in the washing machine, but I can handle that in the morning.
