Wednesday Morning we high-tailed it to Asda for a look in the 2 charity shops, i picked up a dress for me, jeans for Ruby & Lord of the Rings Risk for Jojo's christmas. Then a bit of food shopping - got a new kettle as ours Leaks more than it boils.
I had invited any christian home edders for lunch and/or tea. Only one lady came, with her two littles, and we had a great chat, getting to know each other better & observing the home ed situation in Liverpool.
After school we had a snack, then nipped up to see if we could help with shoe boxes, but it was closed.
Thursday Ruby went to do shoe boxes, I had lunch with Linda, leek & potato soup, which I made, and I must say it was excellent! Much better than it usually comes out!
Then I went up to do some shoe boxes too- i couldn't resist! And Lola, her friend & my neighbour came up too. It was fun!
This morning I had to stay in as the new boiler is getting installed. My friend came for a coffee with adorable baby. I am just waiting for the boiler men to be finished so I can nip up to the church for a bit more shoe-box sorting fun!
