Carol Service.

These are some folded page art by a friend of mine, her website is thefoldedpage.co.uk.
She folds pages into some gorgeous shapes and words, and can do initials or names, whatever you ask for. They are amazing!

We have had a quiet weekend. In fact I have no idea what we did yesterday, if anything. Oh yes, we watched Monster House, a kids film, which was a bit too spooky, so then we needed to watch another, more familiar film, to cancel it out. Unusually for us, we had a democracy thing going on- everyone nominated 3 films to watch & the winners were tied- Bruce Almighty and Horton hears a Who. We voted again & Horton won.

Um... did a lot of washing & nipped to Morrisons. That describes ANY day of my life!
I finished knitting F's Golden Socks & am almost done with R's hat. I am intending to put up a pic of my recent creations soon.
I made a big batch of scotch pancakes for brunch on Saturday, so simple & so popular!

Today it was the carol service at church, that went well, we had a lot of visitors in, Lola dressed as an angel & did a bible reading (my kids usually stay well away from the dressing up/going out the front).

we played the following excellent Christmas video:    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zduwusyip8M&list=PLC9CBA7E985567228&index=3

There was yule log & mince pies after.  Lola & I did the teas after as usual.  Then Lola made us a sausage risotto, she didn't have a recipe! She did well. we made some more peppermint bark.
I've spoken briefly to two people affected by me not returning to work in the Noah's in January.

The prayer meeting was very short this eve! I was leading, there were more people than usual.
I got back by 7 so read the boys two chapters of the Hobbit before bed. Not long now.
