Picnic & scarrrrrrrr

Monday night I went to Zumba, without having any tea first unfortunately, so I had no energy to do the hilarious funky movements.

Tuesday G went off to school (Lola tomorrow) and the other 3 kids & I cycled to the festival gardens (see a pattern forming?!) and met up with a few home edders for a picnic there.  I have only known these people a few months but we are like old friends. Having only one thing in common - we are walking a path less travelled - for the sake of our kids.  We are very supportive & gentle with each other cos someone's got to be!
They are such a lovely bunch.
It was 5 or 6 miles each way , needless to say we were tired etc!
For tea I just microwaved jacket potatoes with a bit of bacon, cheese and curried beans & it got the best reception of any meal I've prepared here in a while!
L was ironing her new school blouse in prep for tomorrow & G got burnt on the iron, on his upper arm. But thankfully we rushed straight to the cold tap & it is fine now. He seems keen on the idea of a scar. (reminding me of his past as a drama prince!)
the SCARRRR!
