Quite an exciting day on Monday - getting G ready for school, and our Teaching Textbooks 7 arrived. Ooohh!  It looks good.

Quite an exciting development for me & Fred. Background: I read his school questions out, he says the answer & I write it for him. it's called scribing. Of course he CAN write but he takes AGES and HATES it. I'm pretty sure he would be diagnosed Dysgraphia if the need arose.

We were on the 15th little lesson on the weekend, and I was so tired - literally falling asleep as I read the question - and he did all the writing himself! YAY! and did the same the next day. Wahoo!

It doesn't sound much - indeed he had to do all his own writing at school until recently. But I have not made him do any writing since he left school in ?April? and this was his first time choosing to do it. Small steps? Yes, but in the right direction!
