A lovely meeting with christian home edders

Monday at the cafe we only had approximately 3 customers!  I couldn't get my two students motivated to do their work though.  Then it was the Tea Dance at Welcum Club. Oh Boy! Was there some washing up to do after that! I creaked out of there about 5pm, only to return at 7 for Zumba. It is so fun, it's even worth going when my legs are killing from cafe.

We didn't go to GAP on Tuesday as R had an ear infection.  I looked it up online, gave her some painkillers & put a few drops of warmed olive oil in her ear. Told her to stay in bed by the radiator. It did kind of free us up to do everything that I was lagging behind with. F and I cycled around doing all the errands, getting soaked in the rain.

Wednesday was the gathering of Liverpool Christian Home Educators that I had invited to the Noah's to get to know each other and support each other a bit. Initially I was a little disappointed as only two ladies came (bringing a total of 6  with them), but it was a lovely blessing, we had our picnic lunches, chatted, helped each other & prayed. There was advice on attitudes, schedules and nutrition flying thick & fast!
The children aged from 1 to 13 played scrabble, the piano & drums, table football and with various tents & stuff from the creche room.
The ladies were made up  with our facilities - room, natural light, heating, comfy chairs etc.
I would like to do another in a month's time - you know, even though it was wonderful - it took time away from schooling...

I am praying about what the Lord would like me to cut out at the moment as I am doing far too much outside the home & hardly anything in the home!
I am in that familiar situation of failing to say NO to anything - I did say no to 3 things this week but it's still been tight!
