Okay the Family Fun Day went okay...I was serving in the cafe from 10-2 with Suey & Janice. It was a bit strange as The Parent Hub were cooking & we used their systems, but they were really friendly & patient with us & we got through it! There were a LOT of food orders & we got rather a backlog at one point, but all okay in the end. We didn't do our little drama in the end which is a shame as i think it was the one evangelistic element of the day. But this gives us a chance to Actually Practice it for next week & so it will be a bit better presented than it would have been.
The policy of kids-only-allowed-in-with-an-adult made it quite a different animal than our previous fun days, obviously there was less trouble! But I guess it was less inclusive so my mind is not made up on that.
It was good to be busy, took my mind off Other Things, and I am a lot more settled & have a bit of peace of mind/heart now.
