LA, Fruity Phone, watching tv far too late at night

Yes I met this lady from the local authority yesterday in Costa. She was very smiley & friendly, bought me lunch. It was simply a get-to-know-you meeting, i thought it would be 30 mins but we actually wittered on for about 2 hours! She home educated her own 2 children for a few years & is now a teacher, so seems ideal for this post.
After meeting she said she would be happy if I submitted a report on our home education.
I would probably not invite her to our home or to meet the kids on principle, you have to be cautious, and remember, I'm optimistic and also a rubbish judge of character - I always think new people are lovely!

IN the afternoon Ruby played with Moon Sand and Fred made a pot & a fruity phone (!) of Fimo. While I read the next chapter of Children Of The New Forest. It was a chapter heavy on nineteenth-century dialogue, so a bit heavy going. or, if you like, boring.
I am still trying to clean away the moon sand. It wants to stay.

I had 2 crazy-busy weeks & I must get down to some work for my NVQ this morning, so why did I stay up til 1am like a fool?!
I finally watched The Illusionist, which I really enjoyed, I love Edward Norton in general but this was a great story, full of excellent actors. Then sent the kids to bed at about 11, watched Episodes, my current "My programme", and then noticed an ep of "Hoarders - Buried Alive" and you know that is Essential Viewing. I love it on so many levels, from "Hey! I'm not as untidy as them!" right through to deep thoughts on the inner reasons for buying & collecting needless stuff, and the pain it seems to cause people to let go of a single item.
Fab.
