train, mopping, crochet

All aboard! Paulie dropped the girls off at Manchester Piccadilly this morning, to get a train to Milton Keynes to be picked up by my sister, they are staying with her for a week.
I took the boys to the Noah's for my cafe work.  It was fun having a new catering student today, usually they stick to the kitchen, but this one worked out front with me. I already knew him vaguely, - I know his nan!  And he was smiley & enthusiastic all the time he was with us. Yay
Also it's worth pointing out that one of the problems we were experiencing in the cafe has gone away. **Answer to prayer**!
It was hard work though, my legs were dead by 4, when i finished mopping everything in sight!
Thankfully nothing planned for this evening....oh except -
Crochet! I have been crocheting for a couple of days. I was knitting that mouse, as mentioned in a previous post, and it was easy. almost too easy. I had an idea that i needed a challenge, and i watched a couple of crochet tutorials on youtube. I just had a feeling that I would get it this time.
And I did!
i have crocheted four granny squares of varying accuracy. I really enjoyed it, it really is a challenge for me. I have always had a physical block when it comes to crochet.
