Birthday trip: Legoland Discovery Centre

We went to Manchester to the Legoland Discovery Centre yesterday to celebrate Jojo's birthday.  We did enjoy our day & we love lego but I'm afraid we found it quite lame!  I think it's aimed at someone a little younger than our brood.  What was good was the 4D cinema. We took in the sights of the Trafford Centre - I'd never been before. Quite a spectacle. Don't feel I ever need to go again!
We had a great day out though, topped off by having tea at Chris & Di's, which was lovely.

This is Jojo trying to do the same expression as the lego man. and Fred driving a lego police car. How fun does that sound? The rubbish design & lack of thought on the rides meant that they spent more time being strapped in and manoeuvred than they spent on the rides! Oh dear.

We enjoyed the "class" where they showed us how to make a bee.
Also, the girls & I got blackberrys yesterday which is why i can upload photos again. YAY!
