Been to GAP! Hadn't been for 5 weeks, due to Weekends being busy, then always waking on tuesday to a super-messy house. It was SO LOVELY to see the folks there again - I was greeted with joyful hugs & exclamations! It's SO COLD there, we found it warmer huddling in the sunshine with hot drinks, than sitting inside! There are a few new families - i counted 3 or 4 who've just begun home edding this January. With a few new 11 & 15 year olds too.
My lovely C came to collect us and her little Becky (18 ish months) loved the chickens. When we let them out she stroked one. Then another suddenly flew at her face and then got on her head! She was crying, C was laughing..."Naughty Chicken! Get on the Naughty Perch!" etc!
I'm a bit under the weather today - actually spent the whole of yesterday chatting & praying in Penny's, which was wonderful. I felt like I'd been away on a peaceful holiday...
This morning I made enchilada sauce and a loaf of bread, so now I feel entitled to have a little nap.
