Wow. New Word Alive was amazing. It was even better than last year. Everything about it was wonderful! We are so blessed to be in a place where everyone is "serious about the bible, and happy" !!
As well as wonderful seminars, particularly one on marriage by Paul David Tripp, which was deep and hilarious, and some great bible exposition, mixing in the church family & having the Lord at the top of our minds in chatter.
Then we came back & within an hour there was a group of 10-year old boys on our doorstep, coming to take refuge from a group of slightly older boys..."dere gonna batter us"....there was taunting from our driveway....
Oh yeah, that's right, we live here!
It was a perfect opportunity to demo anything I'd learnt this week!

then we went this morning to the Good Friday service, at which I spent the whole time hushing Fred and then i cried cos he wouldn't.
Oh yeah, that's right, this is my real life!
Which will be okay, even with a boy who won't shut up. Cos I've got GOD.
