Homeschool and God's Amazing Love

Okay, I met with two homeschooling mums yesterday in a coffee house in town.  It was love at first sight! Neither had on a denim pinafore altho' one did have a head kerchief on! We had a chat, i got an overload of info as well as they lent me a book, "Making the right impression" - the experiences of 21 british christian home educating families.  We had a chat, a laugh and a rather deep convo about marriage and aspergers, submitting to husbands in general, and I am raring to go & Home Ed!
They directed me to titus2.com, where I've been before, and when I mentioned I hadn't much ££, one offered to lend me all the home ed curriculum she has.
Also she said her son recently sat two GCSE's for £50 a time, which sounds very reasonable compared to what I've been researching on the interwebs.
I am desperate to do God's will, so been praying a lot, "If homeschooling isn't for us, please make the inclination go away" and it isn't going away.

Sunday night we went to Wirral Christian Centre, Birkenhead to see Steve & Jamie Saint speaking of their experiences with the Waodani tribe in Ecuador. I took Ruby & Jojo.  Only that morning Jojo said something like "I wish I could fly in an aeroplane and throw seeds out so all the poor people can eat"  ...well now we know he can give something even better than seeds! The guys at Mission Aviation Fellowship fly out in light aircraft, taking "hope, healing and help" or similar, to poor people across the world. I was quite tickled to see video of Mincaye, one of the tribesmen who brutally murdered Steve's dad Nate Saint, helping to extract an Indian woman's tooth  in a bizarre offshoot of the story! The Waodani had no dental help & dreadful teeth. Steve (not a doctor) ended up getting a two-day (!) dental education, then returned to see to all the tribe's dental needs. Then he taught the tribesmen for themselves.
Then they began to teach a 10-day dental hygiene & extraction course for pastors - the pastors in india have been getting killed recently. But dental practise has been opening doors for them to preach! What a strange story!

At the same time I am reading "Crazy Love" by Francis Chan. I noticed a lot of people I look up to had read it.  I got it, almost thinking "turn to the page where it tells you to adopt an adorable special needs child from africa"!! But of course it doesn't.  It is a much-needed description of God's amazing, huge, unexplainable, powerful love for each one of us, and  a challenge to live as if you believe in that Love.  I do & I will live like it!

We were a bit desperate for food yesterday (I had shaken every cushion to get the £6 together for the bus to town & a herbal tea!!) and we had a tin of value spaghetti on toast & some custard for tea!  And We have porridge. Sure fills you up!
I don't want to ask anyone to lend/give us any money (this isn't a disguised hint!) as I trust Him to give it to us. The trust is a little wobbly on days like this.  This is the whole point of trusting though.  It would be stupid to only trust my loving Provider for food on days we have a cupboard full!!
WOULDN'T IT!

I have just re-read yesterday's post - the last line - What a fool i was to worry. Believe it!
