Finally got back to GAP yesterday - my idea for this year was to go every week, yet so far Fred has insisted upon not going.
When we got there, we found that Fred's main friend, lets call him K, had also had his curly long locks removed, and was not feeling too good about it. but seeing Fred's shorn head must have helped.
The place was full of new faces & hardly any old 'uns. So I had a lovely chat with some new ladies, one brummie, one french. Both have been home edders since childbirth and helped me see that my priorities are all wrong for this year - we've got into such a rut.
Fred spent the whole time in the Soft Play room upstairs having a great time cushion fighting with some kids similar to his age.
Then off to BSF! It was wonderful to be back. I've only missed two. We are doing Matthew.
As soon as I got there I remembered, that when I listen to the Lord speaking through His word, I get all kinds of new jobs & responsibilities "OH NO!" but then i remembered, when I do them In Him, everything is possible!
