Scotty Road The Musical!

The girls and I went to some sort of local talent evening last night in the Black-E, it's on all weekend, called the Resurrection Festival. £5 each to get in.
There was music on two floors - we'd heard of it cos the Valentine Brothers (sons of an acquaintance from BSF) were performing there.  We didn't stay for them actually as the dancefloor was full of tween wannabe groupies! So we went downstairs, to a little makeshift theatre. We watched a basic little play about Alder Hey by a young new production company - it was okay.  Then we were treated to a hilarious full on musical show called Scotty Road The Musical.
It's about 2 typical scousers who got put in prison after a Primark bargain incident.  The songs were all pastiches of songs from musicals - Maker of the scouse, I dreamed a dream, Don't cry for me Marg & Tina!
It was rather camp, but really well written, performed, sung & danced. I would love to see something else by these two actresses.
Such Fun!
