about 9am i cut my finger quite badly among the onions (i do keep warning people, that new kitchen knife is extremely sharp!)
blood was spurting out so i held it high wrapped in a tight cloth, praying it would not need medical attention. I dread stitches. I looked out the window for Penny's car. It wasn't there. Doh! If she was there she'd help me make a decision about whether I needed to take it to the walk-in Drs.
I bandaged it up and got on with the cooking.
In a few minutes Penny was at the door. "I was driving to Whiston and I felt the Spirit telling me, "Go check on Marian". I thought I'd pop in after work but it got more urgent and insisitent. So I turned around and came. Are you okay?
I told her about my finger.
We were amazed at the tender care of our Loving Lord, He sent Penny to be with me in my trouble, even though the finger turned out okay, He wanted me to know He cared. We cried & Praised our Lord together!

Saturday was our church ladies' spa day. Previously we'd been to Formby Hall and had a fabulous, luxurious time for Angie's Hen Day.
We went to Daresbury Park Hotel this time via groupon,
We ended up having a fun time together but it was NOT the same!
Admittedly it was only £10, we got to swim/jacuzzi/steam and use the gym and have afternoon tea!
16 of us went including 3 fourteen-year-olds, my two girls & one other.
We had fun.
Thank You Lord!
*memory box: a box of memories we treasure, of times the Lord's Loving Care has been very clear and apparent. In the bad times we can look back into our Memory Box and know He is Faithful.
(got that idea off Linny Saunders here.)
