it aims to answer a question i'm often asked: Is this behaviour autism or naughtiness?
The answer evades me!
I'm only on chapter two, but I've found it very helpful for dealing with the asd kid's "funny" (i.e. awful) habits & ways in a grace-filled manner.
Also I watched a film called Divided, about the gap between youth & church. very interesting. provocative. It reminded me that the responsibility for bringing my children to Christ lies with me. Not church, not youth leaders. Me.
Today a friend took me & the homeschoolers to visit a friend of hers across town who is wondering whether Home Ed is the solution for their family. It probably is, in general!
I am buying a 2nd hand Sonlight Core, for nice & cheap. YAY! it's all about USA/native americans/cowboys/pioneers OH YEAH! My fave period of history. Bring it on!
My plans also involve getting my students to "Build" dioramas of what we've learnt, using the level builder on Little Big Planet. Technology!
Also, i would like a pair of these.
