oh, the excitement!

This post comes to you from my raspberry pi.
Last evening while i was in my post-zumba bath, dh & lola were gathering the chickens into the coop for bed. and emmy was missing! we looked everywhere including penny-next-door's garden, as it's slightly acccessible from atop the outhouse. nothing.
so pajama'd marian has to go knocking at the homes of the people whose gardens back onto ours - about 12 houses.. they were all very kind and helpful about it, some thought it very funny and made loud chicken noises as i went about the back gardens!

eventually Emmy was discovered quite high in the fir trees between ours & penny's garden.  she took a lot of coaxing out. the moron!

I had been quite unwell following the painkiller prescribed from the dentist on saturday, i missed church, and Elaine came with a little bunch of flowers for me this morning, and emilia did a lot more basic tidying than usual while i lay down. I'm very blessed!
